Korean Team Visit

The group leader and director of the local Bible School
Today a team from Korea came to visit the school and share the gospel. It always amazes me how even with the language barrier the gospel can be shared amongst people of different languages and cultures. They had some acts to warm up and get the students involved. Then, they had a skit showing how the things of the earth take us away from God/Jesus and what we need to do to come back to him. They then played the song Awesome God along with a power point and they portrayed different stories in the bible, ending with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. It was quite amazing to see how they were able to teach all of this without words.

After the concert/performances they gave out balloon animals, rub on tattoos, and pinwheels. The students loved going from station to station doing the different activities. One of the girls was quite good at English, and so I was able to talk to her for quite a while and learn about their project and goals, and tell her about the school and students. God blesses us in so many ways, often unexpected. Who knows what this day and performance might mean to one of the students now and in the future. I'm grateful for teams like this one who come and teach our students about the love of God in a way they can understand without using words.
